Dr Kirsten Hills is a Histopathologist based at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology's Southport laboratory. She has experience in a broad range of general surgical pathology and has developed particular interest in dermatopathology, gynaecological pathology, urological pathology and breast pathology.

Dr Hills graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1999 and completed her residency at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She undertook further training in pathology at the Institute of Clinical Pathology and Medical Research (ICPMR) at Westmead Hospital in Sydney with rotations to Nepean Hospital, Breastscreen Western Sydney, Forensic Medicine and Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2008.

Before joining Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, Dr Hills worked as a staff specialist in anatomical pathology with Pathology Queensland at the Gold Coast University Hospital. Prior to this she worked as a staff specialist in anatomical pathology at Westmead Hospital in Sydney, with the additional role of supervising pathologist for Breastscreen Western Sydney.

Dr Hills joined Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology in 2014. She reports on a broad range of specimens and performs intraoperative frozen sections, working closely with local surgeons. She is an active member of her local medical community, attending multidisciplinary meetings, including urological and gynaecological oncology meetings, as well as meeting with local general practitioners. Dr Hills strongly believes that close communication and collaboration with referring clinicians and colleagues is essential to delivering a high quality service.
